Bank Strike: Thousands of Employees Reach Jantar Mantar on 2nd Day

Lakhs of bank employees went on strike on March 15 and 16 in protest against the privatisation of two public sector banks. According to union leaders, at least 10 lakh employees and officers participated in the strike across the country. On the second day of the strike, thousands of striking workers staged a protest at Jantar Mantar in the national capital, just a few kilometres away from Parliament.
