Water Harvesting Plugged Migration: Bright Side of MP

The efforts paid off and water level of the village goes up.

When entire Budelkhand region of MP is reeling under water crisis, a small tribal village -- Kota Gunjapur, located within the Panna tiger reserve and about 20 kilometres from Panna district headquarters giving a ray of hope through conserving rain water.

Three years ago, the villagers withe help of NGOs dug a pond on the outskirt of the village and started conserving rain water. The efforts paid off and water level of the village goes up.

Now, they have enough water for farming and as well as drinking.
