The year 2019 witnessed several incidents of attacks on the Constitution of India, from the abrogation of Article 370 to the highly contentious Citizenship Amendment Act. Despite the government's numerous attempts to crackdown on the protesting masses, the people continued to raise their voice against the anti-people policies. In such a scenario, the mainstream media, too, played the role of a government stooge to further its propagandist goals.
