How Plausible Is Modi’s Return?

In the ongoing Lok Sabha elections, voting has concluded in 373 seats so far. In the remaining three phases, elections will be held in 169 constituencies. In 2014 elections, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) had scored a victory in 116 of these seats. Will BJP be able to repeat its performance this time? It is believed that the BJP’s performance has been not-so-stellar in the last four phases. Everything now depends on the rest of the three phases. Senior journalist Urmilesh analyses whether Modi’s return to power is plausible.
