Braving spine-chilling cold, the protesters have been sitting on a dharna for the past three days to press the government to repeal Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA), which, they say, is discriminatory and unconstitutional. Breaking all the stereotypes, hundreds of Muslim women are out on the road (NH 24 that connect s Delhi to Noida in Uttar Pradesh) in Shaheen Bagh, a locality in Okhla's Jamia Nagar, to protest against the controversial law and brutal crackdown of the Delhi Police on agitating students of Jamia Millia Islamia.
