Abha Dev Habib on Ad-hoc Culture, NEP in Delhi University and Other Challenges

Ahead of DUTA elections that are to be conducted in the month of November this year, Newsclick spoke with Professor Abha Dev Habib on the various challenges that the students, teachers and workers of Delhi University are up against today. She discusses the possibly hazardous implications of the New Education Policy and the Four Year Undergraduate Programme (FYUP). Further, she explains how the policy of adhocism is rotting higher education and also, the urgent need to increase public funding in educational institutes in the country.
