Absurd EVM Hacking Claims by Self Proclaimed Cyber Expert: A Fact Check
On 21st January, self proclaimed cyber expert Syed Shuja 'exposed' the so called EVM hacking scam of 2014 at a press conference held in London that was attended by Congress minister Kapil Sibal. This was expected to be a revelation which would turn Indian democracy upside down, but it didn’t quite achieve that. In this interview, Prabir Purkayastha and Bappa Sinha discuss the many loopholes and gaps in the bogus theory put forward by Mr. Shuja and explain the administrative procedures and role of political parties in maintaining the sanctity of the voting process through EVMs.
