Capitalism Creates Degraded Living Conditions: Vijay Prashad

In his address at a panel discussion to mark eight years of Newsclick, Vijay Prashad explains the crisis of capital with respect to the rise of the Right worldwide. He says that there is a need to create a world where people work joyfully, not miserably. It is not just unemployment that degrades living conditions. The kind of work that capitalism creates degrades living conditions of workers as well. The need of the hour is to build the Left so that this system can be challenged.
