The Left Democratic Front (LDF) government of Kerala has been accusing the BJP-led Union government of hampering the state’s development by reducing its share of revenues and reducing borrowing limits. To protest, Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan and the entire cabinet along with LDF MLAs and MPs will sit in protest in Jantar Mantar on February 8 against the attacks on fiscal federalism and legitimate rights of the state.
