Company Closed, Over 100 Unemployed: Dongsan Workers Fight for Their Rights

Dongsan Automotive India Pvt Ltd in Chennai had over a hundred permanent workers, however, all of a sudden in March 2018, the company declared that their services have been terminated.

Dongsan Automotive India Pvt Ltd in Chennai had over a hundred permanent workers, however, all of a sudden in March 2018, the company declared that their services have been terminated. Most of the workers were rendered unemployed. The workers allege that the same management of Dongsan has opened another company named Dong Sung but they haven't been employed in the new company. As a result, the workers continue to struggle for their rights.
