Newsclick spoke with Prabir Prukayastha about the recent controversy involving Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs). He talks about how Indian EVMs are fundamentally different from the ones used in many other countries. These differences makes it extremely difficult to hack the Indian EVMs. According to him unless the entire election process is tampered with, it is nearly impossible to control the outcome of election by hacking the EVMs.
