'End Hate and Oppression and Focus on Saving Rural Areas from COVOD-19'

The government has not been providing any official numbers regarding the spread of COVID-19 in rural areas and the deaths caused by them. The media too has not focused enough on the alarming situation in the villages. In the northern States, hospital facilities, as well as testing machinery, is negligible due to which detailed numbers on the impact of the pandemic are also difficult to obtain. At the same time, in these regions, repression by the State is rampant. This is preventing the fightback against COVID-19. Journalist Urmilesh addresses these issues.
