On September 27, the Bharat Bandh called by the Sanyukt Kisan Morcha affected the whole country. According to farmer leaders, the bandh has been successful from Kashmir to Kanyakumari, except for in the states of Northeast India. Notably, 19 political parties, including the Left parties, had declared their support for the bandh.
