In this interview, with Newsclick's Siddhanth Aney, Sandhu talks at length about what has changed in the sport over the years and what makes the current Indian side feel like they can go out and get results even against some of the top sides in Asia. He sheds light on the new coaching staff led by Igor Stimac, the next generation of players and highlights some of the structural problems still plaguing the football in India.
