"Most of the home-based sex workers in Delhi are migrant workers from Uttar Pradesh, Bihar or Rajasthan. They don't have ration cards and have no means to get a ration card made either. Money aside, hunger is a major concern for all the sex workers right now." says Kusum, president of the All India Network of Sex Workers. Sex workers across cities are suffering due to shortage of food and are left with no source of income. Sex workers - themselves daily wage earners - are staring at months without any business.
