All India People’s Science Network (AIPSN) is organising the Copper Moon Campaign for viewing of the ‘super blue blood moon eclipsehappening on January 31, 2018.

This rare phenomenon occurring after more than 150 years will see the convergence of three lunar events, a lunar eclipse, a supermoon, and a blue moon.

AIPSN has put together different facts about the event on their campaign website, coppermoon18.wordpress.com. Enthusiasts can view information about the equipment required to watch an eclipse, how the eclipse can be experienced best, how to determine the time at which the eclipse will happen at your location, etc. Questions about how and why eclipses happen are also answered on the website.
