Kashmir: In Shopian, Investigation in School Over Alleged Ties with Jamaat-e-Islami
In Shopian, one of the most volatile districts in the Valley, Rouf Ahmad Dhar, Abdul Ahad Bhat, and Muhammad Yousuf Wani have been booked under PSA for their alleged role in supporting the “ideology of secessionism”, according to the police. Rouf’s name was associated with Jamia Siraj ul Uloom, an educational institution in Shopian’s Hillow village, as a “teacher involved in militancy-related activities”.
