Maharashtra Farmers Gear Up for ‘Long March’ from Nashik to Mumbai

The farmers will once again take to the streets raising their demands.

Fed up of the BJP state government’s apathy, farmers of Maharashtra are in an uproar. The Maharashtra Rajya Kisan Sabha (AIKS) will begin a ‘Long March’ on foot with over 50,000 peasants marching for a distance of nearly 200 Km from Nashik to Mumbai. There, Peasants will gherao the state assembly which will then be in session, until their demands are met.
