Modi Raj: Poor Out of Budget, Farmers on Bed of Spikes
In this episode of 'Khoj Khabar', senior journalist Bhasha Singh, while referring to the international voices raised in favour of the farmers', expressed her deep concern that the spikes and pointed wires being put by the Modi government to crush the farmers' movement against the three Farm Laws is creating an atmosphere of fear. The manner in which the protests of civilians at Mandi House in Delhi was stopped is a dangerous sign as senior journalists have been charged with sedition and other serious criminal cases. She also spoke to noted economist Jean Dreze on the rights of Dalits, Adivasis, the poor, children, women and Anganwadi workers being trampled on in the Union Budget.
