Statement on allegations published in the media about the case under UAPA being investigated by the Special Cell of Delhi Police.
NC

NewsClick categorically rejects the allegations published in the media about the case under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act being investigated by the Special Cell of Delhi Police.

As we have reiterated a number of times, NewsClick has not received any funding or instructions from China or Chinese entities. Nor has it engaged in, or encouraged any 'anti-national' activity.

Various government agencies have levelled such allegations against NewsClick time and again; but they have failed to provide any evidence, and the latest claims are no different.

All of NewsClick's work is in the public domain. A brief perusal is enough to establish that the allegations against NewsClick seek to muzzle our independent journalism.

We are confident such allegations will be dismissed during the trial. Our work will be vindicated.
