Mehrauli Ground Report: DDA Leaves Hundreds Homeless Following its 'Bulldozer Action'

Demolition of houses was underway on Saturday in South Delhi's Mehrauli area following a notice by the Delhi Development Authority (DDA). With the deployment of a heavy police force, the DDA has vandalised many houses for the second day. The residents living here say that they have bought these houses after fulfilling all the required formalities. They accused the DDA and the police of taking money and also questioned what the DDA was doing when they were getting the houses registered.
