Led by AIKS, the 10-000-strong Kisan Long March wants Rs 2,000/quintal for onions, loan waivers, forest land rights, among other demands. On the way, the marchers threw away onions, tomatoes, brinjals, potatoes and other vegetables on the road in anger and frustration.
