Paigham-e-Azadi | SFD Independence Day Lecture on Aruna Asaf Ali by Anil Nauriya
A series of lectures titled Paigham-e-Azadi is an initiative by the School for Democracy and NewsClick to commemorate the 74th anniversary of India’s Independence and will focus on our freedom fighters, whose pioneering contribution had made the dream of Independence a reality. This particular lecture from the series will focus on Aruna Asaf Ali and will be delivered by Anil Nauriya. Anil Nauriya is a Counsel at the Supreme Court of India since 1984 and has been writing since the 1970s on secularism and the state. He has contributed to various books and journals as well as has taught at several universities in India and abroad.
