In its ongoing session, the United Nations Human Rights Office (OHCHR) released a list of 112 companies operating from illegal Israeli settlements on occupied Palestinian lands. The settlements are a war-crime under international law and their operation is considered to be an act of profiteering from them. Apoorva Gautam, South Asia Coordinator of the Boycott, Divestments, and Sanctions (BDS) movement, speaks to NewsClick about the list and its implications.
