“The Draft National Education Policy 2019 (DNEP 2019) proposed by the incumbent Modi government is doing nothing but reinstating the hierarchical and discriminating practices prevailing in India. Also, it recommends treating education as a commodity, according to the WTO guidelines. Thereby, it will not allow the nation to move forward, rather, will take it backwards. Therefore, the DNEP has to be rejected,” said educationists L Jawahar Nesan and Prince Gajendra Babu at the occasion of publication of Nesan’s book, In Search of Education. This is the second part of the video.
