Vaccines Don't Block Transmissions but Reduce Hospitalisations & Deaths

In the last episode of the Covid show, we look at the rising cases in Europe, South-East Asia and non-declining Covid cases in the United States. We discuss China's response to the latest Omicron virus surge in the country and try to look at the vaccines, which helped the healthcare facilities to not be overwhelmed and stretched beyond their capacities to deal with the serious cases of the virus. The culmination of our shows on COVID-19 also brings in the opportunity to produce shows on wider topics of science, technology, health and the issues like intellectual property rights and transfer of technology and the North-South divide.
