Writers, artists, historians and intellectuals of the country have written an open letter challenging the government and the right-wing forces. The letter said, “People like us will continue to raise our voice every day against mob lynchings, quashing of resistance; against the use of courts as a medium of oppression because it is important to raise our voice.” In this context, author and activist Githa Hariharan and senior journalist Bhasha Singh talk about how the current government is misusing various laws to silence the voice of the progressive section of the society.
