She has served as legal counsel to the U.S. House of Representatives and as a legal advocate for Palestinian refugee rights at the United Nations. She is the author of Justice for Some : Law and the Question of Palestine.

She talks to Frank Barat about the annexation of the West Bank, the US "peace plan", the response of the Palestinian Authority, and explains why Palestine lives.
