The government has been claiming that the country is returning to normalcy following the COVID-19 pandemic. However, the anti-worker measures introduced during the pandemic continue to adversely affect the working class. In the IMT Manesar-based Satyam Auto Components Private Limited Company, more than a thousand employees began a strike within the company from Monday afternoon, leading to a complete halt in production. The strike was called off on Wednesday. Earlier, the employees had also boycotted food for a week. These workers have been protesting for their fundamental rights and salary hike. Here is a ground report by NewsClick.
